Raquel Lynn lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband Adam, Paint mare Fira, Mango the Pomeranian and a flock of Silkie chickens. In 2010, Raquel created her first blog, Horses & Heels as a personal outlet with a handful of readers. In 2013, she left behind her 9-5 to pursue blogging full-time. Raquel has a passion for fashion, an eye for interior design and creating. She uses blogging as an outlet to share carefully curated finds and meticulous horse barns. In the spring of 2016, she launched her second blog, Stable Style. Barn loving equestrians around the world turn to Stable Style for inspiration which inspired Raquel to create the book, Stable Style: Barn Inspiration for all Equestrians and luxury candle line. Raquel also freelances for a variety of equine publications including Horse Illustrated and Western Life Today. 

Susan Friedland and her off-track Thoroughbred, Knight, live in Illinois fox hunting country. Susan is a regular contributor to Horse Illustrated magazine, and her books include "Horses Adored and Men Endured," "Unbridled Creativity," and "Strands of Hope."
